Civil Engineering-Eligibility, Scope, Syllabus, job and salary

What Is Civil Engineering
Civil Engineers visualize, design, build, maintain, maintain and care for public and private sector infrastructure projects and systems including roads, buildings, airports, tunnels, dams, bridges and systems for urban supply and sewage treatment. Develop a sense of civil engineering and self-discipline, social responsibility, attitude of a cooperative and good work approach and play an admirable role in the prosperity of human civilization, and by contributing better, by learning about the security of human civilization by extinction. Infrastructure development using skills acquired during the years.

Civil engineers require a degree in civil engineering or a bachelor's degree in civil engineering technology. They usually require a bachelor's degree and license for promotions to senior positions. Although the requirements of the license vary by state, civil engineers should generally get licensed if they provide services directly to the public.

Civil Engineers - Job role
Civil engineers build, improve and protect the environment in which we live. They plan, design and monitor the construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure such as roads, railways, airports, bridges, ports, dams, irrigation projects, power plants, and water and sewerage systems. They also manufacture and build long buildings and large structures that can face all weather conditions.
Generally, civil engineers come in two types: counseling engineers and contractor engineers. Consultants are responsible for design projects and work primarily in an office. Contractors then design and apply them during construction. The contractors work on the site, managing the construction of the structure.

Depending on whether you are a contractor or consultant, work activities may include:

·         Technical and feasibility study activities including site investigation
·         Using a range of computer software to develop detailed designs
·         Complex calculation undertaking
·         Contacting customers and various types of professionals, including architects and subcontractors
·         Compiling job specs and monitoring of tender procedures
·         Solving solutions to design and development
·         Management of budget and project resources
·         Scheduling materials and equipment purchase and delivery
·         To ensure that the project complies with legal requirements, especially health and safety
·         Estimation of sustainability and environmental impact of projects
·         Ensuring that the projects are run smoothly and the structures are completed within budget and time
·         Working hours for consultation with civil engineers are usually general office hours, some extra hours and weekends are close to the project's deadline. Contractors on the other hand often work on shifts and weekends and are out in all seasons.

Civil Engineers- Salary
A civil engineer earns an average salary of Rs 30,00,000 per year. Experience strongly affects the payment of this work. The most paid students are Microsoft Project, Project Management, Engineering Design and Project.
