What is agricultural engineering?

Educational qualification and selection:
The basic eligibility criteria for. B. Tech in agricultural engineering is 12th or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and preferably Biology. Duration of the degree course in agricultural engineering is 4 years. In addition to the required educational qualification, candidates must apply for the entrance examination conducted at the state, national or university level. The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi, conducts an All India Examination to be admitted to agricultural schools for B.Tech. Courses throughout the country. The entire entrance exam in the engineering of India (AIEEE), the joint entrance exam (JEE) conducted by the IIT are the other two entries that are accepted by several institutes.
